Since beginning his career in advertising in 1982, Bob Rupp has handled a diverse group of account assignments, including the development and implementation of strategic marketing programs for some of the largest corporations and institutions in the southern United States. His background includes directing the marketing and advertising programs for Hibernia National Bank, Jefferson Guaranty Bank, Royal Honda and Royal Olds Mazda, Sewell Cadillac Chevrolet, Don Bohn Ford, The President Casino, Beau Rivage Casino, Southern Baptist Hospital, Le Meridien Hotel, Windsor Court Hotel, The Fairmont New Orleans, the Louisiana Lottery, The Audubon Institute, Mississippi Power Company, and LP&L/Entergy Corp., among others.
Prior to founding Rupp Marketing in 1998, Bob worked for several major advertising agencies in the Gulf South region including Bauerlein where he served as V.P. of Account Services and was a partner. At the Graham Group, Bob again served as V.P. of Account Services and oversaw the agency’s offices in New Orleans, Baton Rouge and Shreveport.
Recipient of the 1990 and 1994 Advertising Person of the Year Award from the Advertising Club of New Orleans, Bob is known for his strategic brand building and managing abilities for both large and small advertising accounts. He often serves as a guest lecturer at universities throughout the Gulf South and guest speaker to industry-wide forums and luncheons.
